Dwayne Ballen, CEO/Creative Director

Dwayne Ballen is creative director and co-founder of Ballen Media.
Dwayne is primarily responsible for the Company’s overall strategic
vision. Additionally, he oversees customer acquisition and growth,
content and product development.
Mr.
Ballen is an award winning television journalist, whose résumé includes
announcing and hosting sports telecasts for The Golf Channel, TNT’s NBA
coverage and Fox Sport Net. Currently, Dwayne is in his fifth year with
CBS Sports, where he is a member of the network’s announce teams for
college football and basketball. His duties also include serving as one
of the hosts for The CBS Sports Spectacular and studio anchoring.
In
2003, Dwayne produced the documentary short entitled UNC Pathfinders
for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He attended the
University of South Carolina, where he majored in journalism.

Bruce Kennedy, Executive Vice President/Marketing and Strategic Planning

Bruce is the director of marketing and strategic planning for Ballen
Media and provides integrated marketing strategy, brand development,
and project planning and management.
In
2002, Bruce co-founded Marketmouth Communications, an interactive
marketing company, and headed up new business development, publisher
acquisition, channel sales, and public relations services for clients
such as Duke University Health System, and Insight Pharmaceuticals.
Prior to co-founding Marketmouth, Bruce held the VP of Advertising post
at iEntertainment Network, where he directed a division responsible for
$1.5 million in annual sales.
Before
joining iEntertainment Network, he was Vice President of Marketing and
Business Development for Bradway Enterprises and prior to that,
Director of the Internet Services Division for Image Associates. At
Image Associates, Bruce managed online marketing and internet based
training strategies for companies such as Ericsson, General Electric,
and GlaxoSmithKline.
Bruce attended Syracuse University and graduate studies in Psychology at the City University of New York.

A. David Moon, Project Development Manager
David
Moon is the project development manager of Ballen Media and brings
over 25 years of video production experience to the Company. His
responsibilities include creating and managing a pool of subcontractors
scheduling production time, ensuring that the Company adheres to
deadlines, and overseeing quality control and final project completion.
Most
recently, Mr. Moon served as a freelance producer, writing, producing
and directing television commercials and corporate marketing, sales and
training videos. His previous positions included serving as president
of Full Moon Productions, creative director of Percival Advertising,
creative services director of WPTF-TV, and television director of
WTVD-TV.
Mr. Moon’s production and directing credits include Bull Session, a series of 30-minute television shows highlighting the season of the Durham Bulls Baseball Club; Tarheels on Tape: 1990 – The Team That Wouldn’t Quit, a 1-hour video highlighting the 1989-1990 University of North Carolina Basketball Team; and This Week on Tour,
a series of “live-on-tape” broadcasts of golf tournaments for the US
Golf Tour. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill, where he completed his major course work in
Radio-TV-Motion Pictures.

Guilford Fitts, President/Managing Director

Guilford (“Gil”) Fitts is the managing director and co-founder of
Ballen Media. Gil leads the Company’s marketing, sales and client
development efforts. His operational duties at the Company also include
the establishment of revenue forecasting, allocations and cash
management, sales analysis, purchasing of office and production
equipment.
Mr.
Fitts brings over three decades of sales management and marketing
experience with a generalist's background in capital formation,
forecasting and strategy and infrastructure development. Key positions
held include Regional Sales Manager of ABC-TV National Sales Division,
Director of Sales for iEntertainment Networks and National Director of
Marketing for Metro Networks. While at ABC-TV, Gil managed national
accounts at the regional level, initiated business development
activities that exceeded budgeted revenues by 25%, and maintained full
P&L responsibility for a $16 million revenue branch office.
He is a graduate of Cornell University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts.

Scott Long, Insight Productions
Scott Long co-founded Insight Productions in 1983 to service the
growing need for media expertise in the Research Triangle Park of North
Carolina. In its twenty two years of operations, Insight has become of
the leading production companies in the region.
He
has been a member of the Advisory Boards for the State of NC for
Satellite Telecommunications Networking and the communications network
of the NC Community College System, one of the most extensive in the
nation. He has also designed and implemented a worldwide communications
systems for Union Carbide Agriculture Products and has been responsible
for product launches for Glaxo – Welcome, IBM, Team Pharmaceuticals and
Kennametal. Insight also produces John Deere’s monthly Executive
Satellite Conferences.
Scott also served
as Co-Executive Producer for the national weekly PBS Television Series,
Breakthrough: Television’s Journal of Science and Medicine. In its two
year run, Breakthrough earned a loyal viewership, the respect of the
medical community and several national and international awards for
broadcast excellence.

Steve Smith, Original Programming, Production and Development Manager
Steve Smith manages Ballen’s original programming, production and
development operations on the west coast. Steve has two decades of
experience in entertainment production, including radio, television and
feature films.
As
a personal manager with Creative Talent Management Group in Beverly
Hills, California, Smith has strong relationships with key executives
at all of the major networks, production companies and motion picture
studios. His clients have starred in prime-time programming on ABC,
CBS, NBC, FBC, UPN, MTV, VH1, and BET, and he has been responsible for
show development on several of those projects. He also serves as vice
president of operations for the production company of a Grammy-winning
recording artist, and continues to guide the careers of other rising
acts.
A 15-year veteran of ABC-TV, Smith is
a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he
majored in Radio, Television and Motion Pictures.

Joe Hakooz, Interactive Applications Developer
Joe Hakooz has nine years of experience in web application development, Flash programming, ASP.NET technology solutions, and digital design. He works closely with clients from concept to completion to produce custom interactive applications and web-based content management solutions.
Joe has developed countless web and eLearning applications for clients including American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, Oncology Nursing Society, GlaxoSmithKline, Lowes, AT&T, and Lawn Doctor to name a few.
